As a Head of Security ad interim
You ensure Payconiq, as an organization, is always compliant with all security requirements.
You are responsible for a team of security experts and also take a hands-on role within the team. Together you update regulatory & policy initiatives, determine their security impact and coordinate their rollout.
You take the lead in determining Payconiq’s security strategy and are able to translate it to concrete action points for the team.
In addition, you will work directly with internal and external stakeholders and ensure management is always informed.
Requirements
As a Head of Security ad interim you’re able to bring:
Knowledge of external certifications, assurance, and audit reports: such as ISO 27001, SOC1, SOC2, ISAE 3000, ISAE 3402
The ability to effectively work within, contribute to and manage a team at the same time
A self-starter mentality, high level of responsibility
The ability to create, update and secure the strategic security vision for the future
An extensive knowledge of all security standards, regulations and certifications
The ability to effectively collaborate with internal (e.g. business, IT, Legal, Compliance) and external stakeholders (e.g. auditors, security officers, business customers); to ensure the security requirements are always known, understood and included in future product development
The desire to take ownership over Payconiq’s Information Security Management System (based on ISO27001)
The ability to report the security KPIs and metrics to management and business customers
The knowledge on how to work with internal and external auditors and be contact point for external audit activities
Knowledge of how to develop and continuously improve internal security standards
The ability to manage a team of security professionals that are experts in security operation, governance, product security and assurance domains
The knowledge to work on regulatory and policy initiatives, contribute to security design reviews, perform security tests and coordinate security audits
The ability to set up a security program
In addition, you’re able to bring the following technical expertise:
Hands-on experience working as a security engineer or consultant for 3-5 years
A few years of experience with leading a team of IT security professionals (Cloud and App) within the financial services domain
Experience with planning and supporting testing activities
Experience with reviewing tech designs from a security perspective
Knowhow of DevSecOps principles
Excellent communication skills in English (fluent)
Strong stakeholder management skills
Experienced in the payment/regulated business is preferred

Hybrid way of working, out of home and in the Amsterdam office
