
Senior HR Business Partner
Backbase - Amsterdam
You champion Backbase’s culture and values, and work together with local business leaders to help them build an inspiring and challenging work environment for their people. You support and coach managers, you navigate and resolve employee relations issues and assist in implementing global HR policies/programs. You are contributing with a cross-functional group of subject matter experts to execute strategies for how to staff, onboard, develop, inspire, retain and organize work. Partnering with the business and your HR colleagues, you are first line support for managers and employees in a broad range of HR topics.
You will be based at the Amsterdam Headquarters and you will mainly support the Research and Development Department in the Netherlands, as well as help to set up new Backbase locations around the globe. You will report directly to the global VP HR of Backbase in Amsterdam, work in close collaboration with the global HR team consisting of HR BP’s, HR Operations, Talent Development and Compensation & Benefits. Meet the job:
Coach and support managers on all employee related issues: performance management, engagement, absence management, talent development, employee relations etc.
Coach employees on organizational and interpersonal communications
Deliver customized and innovative human resource solutions for organizational challenges
Design of and support in executing HR policies and procedures, optimizing the employee experience
Collaborate and align with internal or external HR experts on several conditions, especially when setting up Backbase locations in new countries
Deliver and facilitate various state-of-the-art training and workshops.
How about you
You have a Bachelor’s Degree with a concentration in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline
8+ years of experience as an HR Business Partner
2+ years of experience in delivering trainings and/or facilitating workshops
Knowledge on Dutch law, compensations & benefits and regulations
You are a self-starter with the drive to deliver exceptional results with an ability to prioritize, coordinate, and manage activities in an international matrix organization
You have a demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic and demanding environment while remaining positive and focused
You are collaborative in nature and possess finely tuned communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills
Fluency in English and Dutch, written and verbal
Previous experience in a Software company, especially a fast growing one, would be a plus
